At Atelier Wels, children, teenagers and adults discover the world of visual art and develop their creative potential. Our academically trained instructors offer individual, inspiring guidance with genuine care.
This is a place to experiment, explore and try something new – without pressure to perform, but with enthusiasm and enjoyment in the creative process.

Holiday programmes
During the summer, autumn, semester and Easter holidays and on Saturdays in Advent, the studio becomes a creative workshop for children – complete with fun, new techniques and creative experiences.
Programmes for adults
Work like artists in a real studio – a group programme for companies, associations and institutions, ideal for a team event or inspiring evening.
Life drawing
Perceive, observe and express – professional guidance and independent sessions develop each participant’s artistic eye and technique.
Programmes for schools and childcare groups
Our age-appropriate art workshops for schools, after-school care centres and kindergartens are an ideal complement to classroom and early-childhood education.
Our studio spaces
Atelier Wels is located in the Alte Rahmenfabrik Nöfa, a centre for art, culture and services. The former factory building has a distinctive charm shaped by the visible traces of craftsmanship. Its large studio, tall windows and dark industrial floor inspire visitors to immerse themselves in a world of colour and form. Two smaller rooms also invite people to develop ideas and learn a wide variety of techniques.

For us, understanding art means becoming active, looking closely and developing your own ideas. We encourage perception, creativity and personal growth – and create a place where every idea can find its own path. Working together in small groups strengthens openness, social skills and tolerance. Atelier Wels is a space for inspiration, learning and exchange – a place where art becomes alive and tangible.
